Learn about Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and how using it on industrial drawings can help reduce product waste, time to market, and reworks. Learn how these principles can be applied and get answers to any questions you may have regarding the use of GD&T and ASME Y14.5.

OUR PRESENTER

Andy Thompson

Andy Thompson is a licensed Professional Engineer in Utah and a Coach at Tec-Ease, Inc. with 25 years’ experience in GD&T manufacturing, metrology, and mechanical design-related subjects. He has worked as a machinist and programmer, as well as a mechanical and manufacturing engineer with experience in commercial products, aerospace and defense, medical devices, and oil and gas. He graduated with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.

 When he’s not solving problems at work, Andy enjoys RV camping, side-x-side, mountain fishing, and 3D printing.
